Small Merry Moments

Being a mom, and staying home with my daughter, is my greatest joy, but sometimes days can blur together and life can feel a bit slow. I’ve been reminded this holiday season about the joy that can be found in small moments.

Right now, those moments consist of coordinated gift wrap, a glass of wine, lovely candle, and knowing that our house cleaner is coming next week.

With gifts stacking up to be wrapped and Olivia in bed, Phil poured us both a glass of wine while we listened to a mix of Christmas music and our favorite oldies. I wrapped presents, while Phil tried his hand behind the camera. We finished the night off watching It Ends With Us, the least merry movie choice we could’ve made.
